Refresher Class
(Visit PADI's "Scuba Review Tune-Up" webpage.)

Welcome back to the world of SCUBA diving!
Re-learn from the experts in Diver Training

Diver Dan's is looking forward to helping you get back into the exciting world of SCUBA diving. If you have any questions, or would like to sign up for a refresher contact us today.

Why should I take the Refresher Class?

The PADI Refresher class will update both your diving knowledge and skills after a period of inactivity.

How much is it going to cost me?

This class includes classroom, pool and rental equipment. Sign up now and to reserve a spot as class size is limited.

The total training fees is $75.00 and the fees are broken down in order to provide many training options to our clients. The breakdown is as follows:

$25.00 Classroom / Pool Fee
$50.00 Instructor Fee

When you sign up for a class, the classroom/pool fee will be collected. The instructor will collect the instructor fee during the first class.

What is the class schedule?

The Refresher class is a two evening course consisting of one classroom and one pool session.

What will I need to buy?

Prior to the classroom session you will need to purchase the PADI SCUBA tune-up workbook.  To make for a better refresher experience it is highly suggested that you read and complete the questions in the workbook before the class begins.

Before your pool session you will need your own personal snorkeling gear which includes: mask, snorkel, fins and boots.  Should you need to purchase any of these items our highly trained staff will help you select the equipment that is right for you.

What will I be able to rent?

The rest of the gear is available from our rental department at no cost for the pool portion of the Refresher course.   The SCUBA equipment you can use consists of: wetsuit, regulator (with octopus, pressure and depth gauge and a compass), weight belt, buoyancy control device (BCD) and tank.

Medical Concerns or Questions?

If you are currently under the care of a Medical Doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that requires permission from a Physician, you will need to have a signed Medical Release form from your doctor before you can participate in any in-water activities.

To obtain a medical release form and view some conditions that would require a doctors release, download the PADI Medical Release Form here.
