Who is PSI/PCI, Inc.?
PSI, Inc offers the finest technical training in the world today for inspectors
of SCUBA, SCBA and certain other high-pressure cylinders. You will learn
the policies for filling cylinders and steps to qualify a cylinder for
continued service. Technicians who frequently work with cylinders and
educators who train people to use these cylinders should receive this formal
training. PSI classes are open to all persons age 18 and older. The PSI program
is the only visual inspector training recommended by the United States
Department of Transportation (DOT), the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) and
all Cylinder Manufacturers.
Course Description
This certification course teaches the basics of conducting the annual visual
inspections of soild wall and composite SCUBA and SCBA cylinders. This 6-8 hour
course is suited for those new to visual inspections as well as those who have
been inspecting without formal training through its wide range of inspection
subjects including damage limits, neck cracking, and laws affecting inspectors.
Additionally, this course meets the OSHA and DOT requirements for employee
